Buda, or Pest?

2007.11.02
The Fishermen's Bastion. Yup this enourmous thing was for fishermen.

Crosby and my gracious host Arnab.
Arnie is studying abroad for the semester and living like a king on 3 dollars a day. A full meal here costs no more then 10 dollars, thats how much a beer costs in France.

View of the city

More bastion

Chain Bridge, Budapest is actually Buda, and Pest, which are connected here!

Fountain at the castle

Imitating statues never gets old. Especially when you don't have to be the deer

Something we found lying around. I missed the look serious memo.

Square of Heros. History of Hungary: Its not a slavic language, I think Hungarians are more like Huns. Hungary was founded by a group called the Magyars from Asia. This square honors the people who first came here.

And they were terrifying

Crosby climbing things

The biggest indoor market in Europe. I ate a sausage, fries, and a great apple strudel here.
