It has been 17 years since I last stepped onto Pulau Ubin (Granite Island).
I can't remember how it looked like at that time, but these are just some of the better pictures I took while I was there recently. My friends told me the island hadn't changed much except in the Chek Jawa Wetlands area, where they have included a visitor centre, a viewing jetty and a boardwalk that goes through the mangrove swamp, seagrass lagoon and rocky shores. There is also a 20m tower for visitors to view the surrounding areas. The area around Ketam Quarry is now a dirt track for cyclists.
Sorry, I did not take much pictures because I was too exhausted by the cycling around the island, and not to mention being chased by 2 wild dogs on our way back to the jetty!

4-love the composition, it's really great
6-the water in this and 4 look really cool, i'm not sure what it is but i like it.
7-the color of this one just struck me for some reason, all the browns
15-i like the composition of this one and the colors. it all works together real well to be very strong
