I did some publicity shots for an upcoming theatre production called 'HERO' by Panggung Arts.

Here's a short write-up about the performance:

Hero. Women. These two words, like it or not, are seldom linked together. Hero. Karaoke Hostesses. These two words, are like opposing poles on a bar magnet. Hero. Two women, both karaoke hostesses, held hostage by an alcoholic regular customer in their own lounge. The words that strings the sentence above seems like a good premise for a drama. Hope. The word that binds these episodes together.

The play ‘Hero’ seeks to discuss and dissect the many definitions ‘hero’ and ‘heroic deeds’, through the twist and turns that Life may have laid out.

Performed in English and Malay with supporting surtitles, "HERO" is written and co-directed by Mohd Zulfadli Mohd Rashid (big) and directed by Fita Helmi. Starring Siti Khalijah (Gemuk Girls) and Suhaili Safari (Conference of the Birds).

Rating: N16 - due to some mature contents

Tickets: $28 excluding $3 SISTIC booking fee
