So Saturday was the big party day for my sister, Carolyn's 60th birthday party. She rented this amazing beach house in Aptos, CA. Unfortunately the weather was stormy but the waves were awesome.
We got the pirate cake over the mountain hyway and to the house in one piece. I was able to set it all up and everyone was amazed.
Some of us had our pirate garb on and we had some family pictures taken. We roasted Carolyn, and had a great time. Then it was time to light the candles. All 60 of them!! We almost burned the whole ship up!! Some of the flames caused the chocolate cookies in the back to curl. But Carolyn got them all blown out and saved the cake. She was out of breath for a moment but she got them all.
I went outside on the deck to take some pictures of the waves and the wind through the Pirate flag.

omg still love that cake so much!!! and yeah as soon as i get rich ill send you that ticket to fly here just to create my bday cake! lol looks like everyone had a good time! =)
