These are called the Santa Teresa Hills. This all used to be the Rabcho Santa Teresa back when the Spaniards and Mexicans had their bit Ranchos before California was made a state in 1850.

With all of the rain we had in February the hills are so green. As the weather warms and the days heat up towards summer the grasses on the hills will dry and turn golden.

I drive 3 miles one-way to work and at this one intersection I face the most traffic on my drive. It takes me 8 minutes to get to work so the drive is realy easy!

Oh, pretty. I can't wait to see some greenery. I'm getting tired of all of the white.
