Freesias always smell so sweet and strong. I am glad the macro setting on my little camera worked for these flowers.

I am taking some for my desk at work. I love these burnt orange ones with their vibrant colors!

I pruned my rose trees and now the new growth is going strong. In a few months the buds will bloom.

My lavendar bush was huge and lush....until my DH decided it needed a trim!! It was almost all but dead for the past two years and now it is coming back!!

I love the smell of lavendar. So relaxing! Again the macro setting on my little inexpensive digital camera worked well for this set.

This WAS my sage bush. I used the tender leaves just this past Thanksgiving when I made my turkey dressing. This bush was quite old so I turned my DH loose on the bush this past weekend!! He is good at giving my plants and trees drastic "haircuts". I will find a nice flowering shrub to replace it once the stump and roots are gone.
