Dog Park Day afternoon!

Champ is checking out the scents on the artificial turf.

Borris is getting his scents in from the turf!

He says "Wait, do I know this dog that left me this scent?"

"Hey buddy, nice to see you here! Let's run and play!"

Some kids had a great time playing with Borris and Champ. Their own dog was a huge German Shepard Dog, I think the kids liked the smaller size of the beagles!

Champ is slow at reading the "doggie newspaper"

Always a hound with his nose to the ground even when he is running! He is such a good looking beagle boy!

* Sniff * sniff * Head down, nose to the ground and white tipped tail held high! That is a beagle through and through!

It is Monday aftrnoon and we have a play date with a couple that really wants to adopt Borris!!! They saw him at the last adoption faire we had at the local PetsMart. We arranged to meet after work at the dog park near our house.

Mike went home to pick-up the two boys - Borris and Champ puppy. Our dog park has been recently renovated so now it has an artificial turf surface, benches, gravel area and trees. The dogs love to run and play all around. Of course the beagles spent a long time with their noses to the ground sniffing or "Reading the doggie newspaper" as I call it!

Champ loved his first chance at the dog park. After taking all of his scents in he ran around with all the big dogs. Borris was a good boy and played a lot too. The couple took him for a walk also to the nearby people park and they are still greatly in love with Borris. They are moving into their house in a few weeks so Borris has a "reserved" sign on him for now!

They want to meet again next Monday for a Borris visitation!!
