My dad during WWII

2008.04.10
Tony Lewis in WWII with his cute little pup. I don't know what the dog was named but my dad loved this guy.

No wonder my Mom fell for him. He was a pretty good looking guy in uniform!! My Daddy!

I was rummaging through some of my millions of photos that I store online and I found these two photos of my daddy from during WWII. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater. First on a small coral Atoll - Canton Island (it is called something different now) and then he was sent to Hawaii. I guess I got my love of dogs from him as you can see he even had his little doggie during the war!!

My father has been gone from us since June 2000. It seems like I can still hear his voice even though time has passed for almost 28 years! Miss you Daddy.

TheCrazyCroat What a great tribute to your Dad. It's easy to see where you get your love of animals from.

Liselaime Neat pictures. Where did he serve/what did he do in WWII? My grandfather was a fighter pilot and I have some pictures of him too.
