The bear slipped and is injured...

They released her from the Hospital Emergency Room and sent her back to the Cast Member Health Center. She has contusions on her head and lower back. Big bruises and a whopper headache. She will have some work restrictions for a week or so.
*******************************************************************My daughter works at the Disneyland Resort. Today she was Kenai the Bear at the Grand Californian Hotel Storyteller Cafe. She walked off set and stepped in a patch of water and slipped. Fell flat on her lower back then smacked her head inside the furry suit helmet. She was dizzy, queasy and generally not feeling so well. I told her she needed to get seen by the Worker's Compensation Doctors. They loaded her in a cab from the work health center and sent to a hospital about 15 minutes from work. That was at 12 noon. Still hasn't seen a doctor.....I am 400 miles away from her away at college. I am freaking out. Her cell phone battery is dead. She can't call out from the hospital, she is supposed to just jump in a cab to head back to work! CRAZY!!! I think she has a concusion because she has slow speech. slurry and is sleepy. Not good signs from where I sit!!! Not sure what to do..... Disney couldn't tell me how long they wait before going to look for her at the hospital!! Crazy place!! I know I am venting but I am scared. She tells me the head of the bear is like a football helmet, chin strap and all but I reminded her that football players suffer concusions all the time!!
