"Law Library of Los Angeles County" why they would stamp the front of a leather bound book is beyond me...but the effect was cool heh

I've got one word: JEALOUS. WOW!!! I want to go into that room and just take in the smell and feel of all those old, gorgeous books. Such history in the hands that have held them, the people that have absorbed and learnt from them. Wonderful, wondeful set Bree, can't wait to see more of this intricate campus you have. And what a great part of your job to have to take some pictures in there! :) Hope you have a fantastic time with the fam on Sunday :) xo L&H and lots of chocolate and laughs :)

Oh my! What a once in a lifetime opportunity! And they just handed you the key;o) I've been known to sniff books in old bookstores. I think there should be on "old book" air freshener. This set rocks! I am adding #8 to my favorites! Now turn on your favorite tunes and have fun spic-n-spanning!

Wow, what treasures. The oldest book I have is "Physiological Basis of Medical Practice" published in 1937. It's fun to read what was practiced in those days. My daughter's husband's grandmother gave her girls some children's books, and I think they are dated either late 1800's or very early 1900's. Those are priceless.

A lovely set and a great story of how you got to shoot them. I love old books too; it's not just about the story inside, it's the story of all those years of use by so many people and what that book meant to them.
