The Lacaille 8760 Affair:: Day 71

Today was a mostly bummy but somewhat productive day. I slept in until 11:00am since Nick had left for a piano gig around 8. I finally rolled out of bed only to then sit at the computer until I received a text message telling me that he was on his way home.

We decided to go out to lunch at a place called Le Figaro Cafe. Sounds fancy, I know. It was. We didn't really expect that a sandwhich would be $14, so it was a bit of a shock to look over the menu. Also happens that most of it was in french and 80% of the meals contained ham in one form or another. Lucky for us, neither of us eat ham...

While we would definitely never go to this place again, at least the decor proved to be worthy of filling my daily photographic experience.

After lunch we wandered around the Vermont St. area, hitting up a few thrifts and random shops. Other than that little two hour excursion, it was back to bumming it.

Tomorrow Nick gets to start his new job mwhahahaa...ahem. He hasn't had a full time job since 2002 so he's in for a bit of a lifestyle change. As for me, it's back to work as well. Hopefully I have lots of work waiting for me.

Thank you all for your kind comments while my family was here last week. I had an excellent time and I'm glad that you all joined me on our tour throughout LA!
