The Lacaille 8760 Affair:: Day 80

Today I just needed to be surrounded by something beautiful and it was these trees that brought warmth to me. It was a bit of a rough morning for Nick and I, as we found out that a family member of his passed away unexpectedly.

Although I only met him once, the time that I spent was full of laughter and excellent conversation, a leisurely boat ride and a private island. What more needs to be said?

I'm dedicating my post to him today, may he find beauty on the journey beyond.

Until tomorrow.

Bree

veganess Well, I am very sorry to hear that. At least you two have some great memories of your time together. It certainly looks as though spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. Not much here, yet. Still too cold, but hopefully soon. :)

Peche Bree, I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss that Nick and yourself have suffered. Pain like that is displaced because it's so hard to understand and even harder to deal with.
I'm very sorry I wasn't on here to offer my support to you earlier.
Two beautiful shots of nature serve as such a lovely tribute to him.
