my window of the world. i kind of liked the effect here with the reflection of the blinds and discoloration.

Nice view.....that should be a theme sometime, "view from my workspace window". That would be an interesting theme. Seriously? You park 2 miles away? I hate it when I have to park around the corner instead of across the street :)

Ooh, new camera bag! I can't wait to see it. Funny thing about my camera bags. I have two of them. One is a small bag I picked up at Target about 15 or more years ago. The main compartment is big enough to hold the camera body with a lens attached, and another lens. there are two small side pouches, and a front zippered pouch. I bought to carry around my little point and shoot - the only camera I had at the time. A few years ago I decided I needed a new bag, one that could hold all of my equipment. It's a great bag - very easy to customize, and fully of pockets and cubbyholes. It wasn't nearly as cheap as my smaller bag, but I thought this would solve all of my problems. The thing is, while it does hold just about everything I own, that makes it too heavy to carry around for long - so I find myself using the Target special about 99% of the time. :)

Breezer, I hope you had a happy happy happy birthday missy! I can't wait to see/hear all about it, perhaps from a completely different perspective ;) I like the fly-on-the-wall feel of this post - that coffee cup is just way too cool - flattery and yumminess all in one! :) What a deal. As for all the news relating to your camera... so exciting... I'm dying to see what you'll end up with. But what's more important, is how much fun you'll have with it and how much you'll make it your own. l&h toots xo

Ok, missy - it's past your birthday! When do we get to see your new toy? This is cruel. Oh and if you think sitting in a Word class is boring, try teaching it. I did that for a year (though I got to teach other classes as well). Although the teaching wasn't thrilling, it was the job that allowed me to travel so much, so it was worth it!
