OTTER FODDER, BLUE HERON & RED WINGED BLACKBIRD

Went birding with baby today and surprised to see that we actually did see a lot of Otters, as promised by our group leader. I could hardly make out how they were positioned because the contrast of the early morning sun and how far away they were, but when I saw them in my large screen in my camera, I knew I had gotten something I thought I could make great once I got them in my editor. So here they are.

I just kept shooting.

The tails were amazing. These are different from the sea Otters. The sea Otters have flat tails.

A Blue Heron pretty far away.

A Red Winged Blackbird also pretty far away. Unfortunately, this branch was in front, but when I went to move to get a better line of sight with no branch in front, he flew away. His head was soooo black, I just couldn't pull his eye out in the editor.
