I heard rumors at work that the Abraham Lincoln was leaving, and I saw it for myself when I got home. So I grabbed my camera and rushed down to points South. Given the horrific traffic in Port Orchard I thought I had missed it, until I ended up in Manchester, WA. I saw a crowd gathered at the dock, so I parked and walked up. I asked two guys if they were waiting for the ship, and they said yes. I was in luck.
What followed was amazing. Even though I've seen the ship, walked around it, and been inside of it, only then did I appreciate the sheer enormity of this gargantuan vessel as it left Bremerton.

That's one impressive ship! Great shots - I really like the people in #6, and Space Needle in #5. Fun!
McKatie - I don't know what she was showing off. It kind of spoiled my shot though. Although when I was walking back to my car, she lost the towel and jacket and was discussing her cup size with friends.
