This is a photo of tulips from one of my gardens from a former Spring. I would love to be in the Springtime right now, turning over the soil and getting my hands dirty. I have found peace, solitude and beauty in gardening. Pruning God's creation is an honor for me and then sharing the fruit of my toiling with others is a blessing to me. I look to the beauty of nature to remind me of the good this life still has to offer. If not for my resolve to do just that, the experiences of my life would have overwhelmed me. Nature is a refuge and Spring is my way of planting a better tomorrow. I also do this same thing by planting in the lives of the wounded who live around me, so that they can have a better tomorrow as well.
What great sentiments. I too enjoy gardening. It clears my head. Also, may sound strange, but I like to pull weeds. I think its because it is instant gratification. You get an area clean and you can immediately see how nice it looks. Thanks for the touch of spring. I can't wait either.
