For the past several years my family has been hosting a Memorial Day party at our home. We open up our home to our entire congregation, friends, and to whom ever we come in contact. It is one of the highlights of our summer. This year I was home in the spring working on my final classes for my Masters and was able to plant hundreds of bulbs and seeds indoors, so I would have a huge jump on the weather. Spring's arrival is very unpredictable in Upstate New York.
