Great title and great shot - they are such delicate creatures aren't they. Not like their cousins the snappers - at the cottage, I tried to remove one that was on a causeway for fear of driving over it - it snapped through a 1" stick - so, I just sat there and "yielded the right of way!!"

Red Eared Sliders! I used to have one of this kind as a pet, and his name was Tucker but as it matured..we found out HE was a SHE! I love turtles. This is a great shot. And, I love the subject. Tucker(ina) is now free in a local river eating as many fish as he/she can hold.
