I don't know! It was so great!
It had been about 10 years or so that i hadn't had my birthday during school, it had always fallen on spring break.
I kept thinking that if i did have it in school, it probably wouldn't be as cool because i wouldn't have the whole day to myself.
Things change!
Vanessa and Denise got me a cute sash that read "Birthday Girl" and a fuzzy crown that matched with it... and i wore it all day at school and got all the happy birthday best wishes i had never gotten from school.
I left and took my Driver's written exam right after school.
I passed!
Dad went to a meeting at the Seminario Biblico and we joined him. He invited us to some delicious quesadillas at El Pollo and we ate to our heart's content.
Arriving home, i find ELIAS!
Elias is home and he's here in time for my birthday!
With my new permit to drive with a passenger over 21 with a license, i take him to Burger King and Dairy Queen and came back home really quickly because... he wasn't feeling too good.
He went to bed and i stayed in the kitchen...
the surprises weren't over!
4 more presents came my way, apart from the ones i recieved at school from Vanessa, Cinthia, Mr. Flores, and Doreen.
Yessi gave me a wacom tablet!! How ever did she know it was exactly what i wanted??? Hee hee i'm so giddy.
and mom and dad came out of nowhere to give me the Zune (dad had previously owned) i had asked for in exchange of giving Mirna my old mp3 player.
It was a great night.
And on tomorrow, we'll watch Horton Hears a Who.

yay I'm so glad you liked the tablet. I do wish to clarify that I did NOT wrap it in such birthday-inappropriate wrapping paper. That must have been mami. Well, sis, welcome to adulthood. Don't worry, though... you still have at least 5 more years to get away with looking like a 15-year old hehehehe... then at 25 people will still think you're 18... ahh yes it's awesome. Enjoy the tablet! I am looking forward to seeing lots of graphic-ish stuff on here!
