What's a Microscope?

It's a joke!
I KNOW what a microscope is.

it was just kinda funny because my zoology professor was totally freaking out because he gave us a pre-test on the parts of a microscope and it seemed that nobody knew ANY of the terminology because after skimming through the finished papers, he said, "I'll just tell [the school board]..." (they were the ones who made the pre-test a requirement) "...that you all did great." And he tore our test sheet into pieces.

Well, in my defense, i haven't had a science class in TWO years.
That's right! Only 3 years are requested for a high school diploma AND practically only 2 when you're in high school IF you had taken the IPC class in advance during the 8th grade.
So.... let's just say my professor was a little surprised and i little disappointed.
Our Lab involved finding out about this vague "microscope."
And i went all crazy trying to see through it!
Even though the lab was only to find out about the PARTS of a microscope, i scribbled with pen on a piece of paper and placed it under the objective lens and went on the whole hands-on approach.
After doing everything in my power to focus by changing the lens or heightening the specimen stage or brightening the light... After spending a squirming half-hour just trying to see any clear area of ANYTHING, i was able to get it.
And i was so excited that i could NOT pass up trying to take a picture!
I just had to!
So i did.
And i sit in the very front of the class too, but i wasn't embarassed, I WAS SO HAPPY!!
Maybe my lab partners where a little embarassed for me, but i got the picture and I GOT proof! X3
