I have good news!

I bought a nice Barbie outfit from Wal-Mart that had shoes, accessories, the dress, and a small black coat for about 5 dolla's.

I was afraid the dress wouldn't fit, because the Barbie's and Jem dolls are completely different sizes-- A Jem doll is 12 inches tall while a Barbie doll is about 10 inches (correct me if i'm wrong).
So obviously, the clothes might not be made for a 12 inch doll if a 10 inch doll wears it.


Good news!
The dress fit!

The bad news?
The dress was the only thing that fit. The Barbie shoes that came with it are too small-- equivalently, the little overcoat the dress came with won't let Jem's arms be flat on her sides, they hover!

So i guess i can't buy any regular clothing for it, i'll have to keep making custom clothes (i'm working on a nice dress) or i could also try to find some fashions online...
In the end, i'll be practicing my sewing i guess~
