Well, we didn't have the greatest float. In fact, i didn't like it so much. The flatbed was HUGE... so huge, we hadn't even considered how HUGE it would be.... so, we had to plan B the whole float.
Our plan A was to made a boat, to show some Marine pride (for the Marines). But our boat was so small, it would make Marines hang their heads in shame. So instead, we covered boxes in butcher paper and spray painted like crazy.
Originally, the butcher paper-covered boxes were supposed to be mountains. As you can see (somewhat) we made them pass off as boulders.
Then the most frustrating part was that the floor of the flatbed had old, splintering wood that would rub all its splinters on US! I STILL have like 5 in my hand-- and i got another one during the parade. And in the worst place-- in my nail! You can be sure that as soon as I got home I tore that thing out any way i could >_>

I guess I liked it in the end anyways because our uniforms were pretty cool. And Abraham helped supply accessories like hats, ammo vests, night vision goggles, and a cool backback/cantine thing!
And I also noticed not a lot of people noticed me and if there's anything i like, is taking the role of somebody that doesn't look like me (like the Nacho Man costume, or the Renaissance Man!)
