Finally here!!

man, i'm so anxious! What is it like? how nice is it really? are we there yet? is that it up ahead??

The first thing is the convention center on the left. This is JUST the convention center. A completely seperate building from the actual hotel.

Coming up here is the resort

*jaw drops*

the room keys are spread out and we're all on our way!

i'm carrying one big duffle bag, a tote full of shoes, and my bag/purse thing i carry my on-hand stuff in. no wheels here, i've got to trek to my room!

other Kappans are also arriving to the hotel and heading on their way

from the elevator, we can see all the beautiful outside (well, it's actually inside but ohhh i can't explain it just yet)

find our hotel room!!

and when we do i gasp at what's outside the balcony

what a view! and from the looks of it, every room has a balcony with an incredible view of the outside

vibrant and colorful! this is the Riverwalk Cafe

from up here i can also see a cute looking fountain in the corner!

I can't wait but to go explore!! "Com'mon roomies!"

We make our way to the first floor and don't really know where to head from there. Then i hear running water! talk about nature senses! i head towards the sound and i walk out and see a fantastic fountain

just down to the next level we get to where the Riverwalk Cafe was located

no business yet i suppose but the whole set-up was very adorable

here's the little fountain i could see from the balcony~

And the Riverwalk wasn't the only part the hotel had to wonder about. There was a completely different section that lied under this glass enclosed "outdoors".

Another restaurant/cafe with an old Mission architecture theme

beautiful landscaping with these sorts of scenes all around. It was an exercise to be exploring the different levels of walk-way

And it was ALL indoors. It was outdoors-y without the bugs and terrible weather changes!

Miniature town dioramas on the side with working trains ;D

Wild West looking type scenes you walk by when you cross the bridges

Even a taxidermy cow! (his name was Hank and he had a kind little message for the people "Please don't cross the fence to come and greet me.")

And get this, all of the plants were 100% real. Not even the tiniest grass bushes were fake. I checked.

I know I spent a lot of time walking all around~~

It was like nothing I have ever been to and something I will always be amazed at.
A wonderful hotel that even though carries overpriced things, is a great place when you're not counting on buying anything ;D
It also had a nice shopping section that i didn't get to picture, but this resort sure lives up to it's name.
I am so glad I was able to go!!
