Into the Fields~

In Iowa, I found that corn is not uncommon... in the least

fields and fields with stalks and stalks of corn sprout from the ground!

as far as the eye can see...

so we want to venture into a field

Today was the last day of the convention, also the day we were to lead the singing in the evening service. Still, I like our trek into one of the many jillions of fields of corn found in Iowa.
I must say it was a nice shoot. Did you know that corn leaves are a little jagged? Kinda like they can cut someone who brushes by too quickly or closely...

They planted corn fields all up in Jamestown Mall and I was JUST looking at them today thinking that I wanted to take pictures in there. Love these! (Loved them when you originally posted them too, just didn't remember...) :)
