Wall to wall paper samples. It is KEY to make sure that the paper you're using is going to be the paper that not only looks good, but works in any/every printer you plan to use.

The room has free samples, and I gotta say, it was tough holding back taking each and every pretty paper I came across. Even then, I think I may have taken just a little over what I should've... >_>

Personally, I think it was too short! I was seriously ready to be there the whole day and learn about paper in and out.
Still, I learned a whole kajigger in those 2 hours.
I knew as a designer I would have to care about the paper and all that, but I had honestly not given it much thought to bother learning about it.
Good thing I went to paper school. It all makes sense now.
For example,
You can't use the same paper for everything. It's like using the same outfit for everything. There are outfits (and papers) appropriate for different events.
Not to mention brightness vs whiteness, formation, weight, smoothness, grain direction, opacity, coated vs uncoated, book vs cover, watermarks, and so much more!
Paper.
Paper is cool.

Such a cool place! I would have been just as excited, for real (despite my making fun of you on facebook, hehe).
