Fine in '09

This is the very first pic of me in '09, taken right after midnight when the 'fireworks' started. Because of a fire we had at a casino here earlier in the year, the powers that be decided not to light the fireworks from the tops of the buildings, so we literally didn't see them.

This kitty pic totally describes my day. I was woken up to a huge crash after only a couple hours of sleep. When I went down stairs, the cat had shoved a glass of water off the counter, causing it to shatter, and was lapping it up off the floor. I had to lock her in the bathroom to clean it up. About an hour later, she knocked ANOTHER glass off the counter, this one with Pomegranate 7-UP. It took me almost an hour to clean up the stickiness and get the pink out of everything!! THEN she climbed in the cupboard and decided to knock food on the ground! Guess she was hungry and thirsty!
