Chasing the Comet 2

Still trying for that comet picture! Last night I climbed onto the roof, got bitten by millions o'mozzies, and gave up when the clouds moved in.

Then tried again tonight, back to the hill we used a couple of nights ago. Guess what. More cloud.

Some of you were asking how we did yesterday's pictures. Fairly straightforward: 1) tripod 2) long exposure 3) a torch applied at intervals.

Much more mysterious is how my friend managed to plant clouds in the way each time!
