My high school's jazz bands do a fundraiser each year called "Puttin' on the Ritz." There's dinner, dancing, and of course live entertainment by the jazz bands. Usually I cover the clarinet parts and become a female version of Benny Goodman for the night, but this year, I didn't get out of school early enough to make any of the rehearsals, so my former teacher had to cover the part. Hopefully I get to play again this year!
