Ps, all those people were film extras too. There were quite a few of them. Only the stereotype ones were illustrated.

She did actually tell me off for not putting make up on. What for? Since she is supposed to do some work! If she wasn't happy, instead of being on the snack table, she could have called us earlier. The one next to me really took that comment in the face! "oh, you are totally ordinary with your long hair" Not even an ounce of compliment to her lovely hair! She was just jealous, she had ugly short hair.

The language used on the film sets is more than peculiar and ridiculous. But it is the language used on film sets so novices like me have to accept them. They kept repeating "happiness? happiness?" as in...what happiness? Is someone supposed to be happy? Was he supposed to make the crew happier by using positive language? This was the last time I worked as a film extra, we were paid shit and there was no point in it. I wasn't going to be found out and said "oh you could be such great actor, come here, you will be staring in the next James Bond film" .
Yes, I was talented.
But off I went, I left the agency.

Shame the drawings are a bit small, for the words . I can't find the original! But basically, we did get treated like crap and it was so not-human and do boring watching those main actors just saying the same line over and over again. We were all jealous and all thought we could act much better than they obviously could. Such a crap soap opera! Can't remember which one it was cos I don't watch TV and we were never in the shots anyway! It is funny about the make up artist calling everyone "Sweet" and being that kind of rather nasty type, unsensitive woman. And everyone else!

This is a very old strip that I had done one day when I was stuck as an Extra, on a stupid soap production and I got rather upset because they were treating us like shit. To draw this had made me so happy and all smiley for hte rest of the day, and quite happy to be on my own too. (Not socialising very well, as usual, a loner type)
