Oh dear oh dear... thank you for your nice words dear Claude, but about your splendid ladybird pictures, I think you have an outbreak of the feared Harlequins, which eat our native ones, the scallywags!!!! Notify HARLEQUIN-SURVEY@wpo.nerc.ac.uk and refer them to your lovely blog!!!! They won't send round the Ladybird Police; they just need to know whether our dear old ones are going to be wiped out. Or not. As for sex in public...

HArlequin ladybirds eat other ladybirds???MErde!!! Thanks for sharing! Should I go back to the bush and help England by eating the Harlequin ones? Are you sure they are not useful and they forget to eat blackfly and prefer meaty scallywags ladybirds?? Oh my. I just sent them an email.
