Park Hall Country Park which is now a nature reserve but was once a gravel Quarry which ceased production in the 1970's

Much of the sandstone that can be seen in some of the pics was deposited in desert conditions in the Triassic period, about 230 million years ago, according to a local website ... Ooooh!
