June 1: Winter (sky) Blues

Who'd a thought we'd be seeing blue skies on the first day of winter? Bloody lovely it is! This is the kind of winter I can handle.

Why do we have hot and cold weather? Why can't we just have bands of consistent weather -- starting at "hot" at the equator and gradually fading down to "mild" at the tropics of cappy and cancer, then chilling out to "snow maker" by the time we hit the bottom of all the continents. That way, we could all choose where we live based on year-round weather to suit our constitutions.

Needless to say, I'd choose somewhere pretty darned warm!

Today I am thankful for every moment of sunshine that warms me.
