June 11: Margaret River Sunset

Who'da thought... growing up in a coutry town in Victoria, all I wanted to do was escape.

As a young adult I loved living in the city -- Melbourne for six years, Sydney for five. My head span when I moved to a regional city in 2001.

I know now that my six years in Bunbury was a gentle come-down to prepare me for farm life in Margaret River. My rewards include sunsets like these.

Today I am thankful for sunsets. They get me to thinking: where is the sun rising now for someone else, and is that someone else watching?
