June 19: New moon and Venus

Yesterday, the crescent moon and Venus made their appearance over the golf course as we played our last strokes on the 9th hole.

Today, this is the image that stayed in my mind while drifting in and out of consciousness on pethodine. In my dreams I was flying through the heavens, dancing with the goddess of beauty and love, and swinging on the corner of the moon watching the celestial parade of stars float by.

Today I am thankful for crescent moons and the new beginnings they represent.
