August 4: Jetty Crime

2007.08.04

Took Jacynthe to see the Busselton Jetty today - the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere. We only had a few minutes so there was only time for a quick look and a quick snap.

It's sad to see the train is still not "back on track" (pun intended), but at least there were still heaps of visitors and fisher-people around - good numbers for the winter months at least - which all helps in raising much-needed funds for the jetty's restoration.

Today I am thankful for the tireless efforts of volunteers who are working to restore this amazing jetty.
