Boy Wonderful has pretty much mastered Chilli Con Carne, but with so much practice I've had a bit of a gut-full. So I taught him how to make Apricot Chicken tonight.
He totally relished being allowed to use the chopping knife, although I suspect he hasn't learned anything from nearly chopping his thumb off with the hatchett -- he wielded the knife in the same unruly manner.
Today I am thankful my son is willing to learn how to cook, even if he does it only to get out of doing the dishes.
