August 19: Jandakot Rainbow

I went to pick Gavstar and Boy Wonderful up at the airport, and this is what greeted me... It was the first time in many many years that I could see the complete arc of the rainbow. Sadly it was waaaaay too big to capture in one shot.

On the way back in to Perth, Gavstar's daughter rang and mentioned that she was watching the most beautiful rainbow from several kilometres away.

We encountered the other end of the rainbow while crossing the Mount Henry Bridge - it was sitting on Salters Point just begging us to go in search of the pot of gold.

Boy Wonderful said, "let's go and look for the pot of gold!"... at exactly the same time as I did.

Today I am thankful that such displays of nature are connecting many individuals all over the city.
