Sept 16: Toodyay Day-Trip

The family took a day-trip to Toodyay today - what a GORGEOUS little town. We stumbled across a "sustainable living" expo so of course we went in.

Boy Wonderful had a ball trying to power a hair-dryer by riding a pedal-powered generator (impossible) but I don't know that he got the message -- when we got home he turned the heater on and left the room!

We were also very lucky that we didn't have to travel home with a piglet in the boot. Boy Wonderful was sooooo impressed with this little pig who "sat" on command he spent quite a while nagging me to buy him one.

Today I am thankful we have time for family outings and easy Sundays.
