Oct 10: Hot Chicks Step Out

There are about 16 chicks in all (I keep losing count!). They stepped into the outside world today for the first time. I found mother hen in another section of the henhouse and her little chicks trying to jump over a hurdle to reach her.

The dyslexic god wasn't too happy that I was ooh'ing and ahh'ing over something other than him. How on earth will the lordship behave when my baby comes along?!

Today I am thankful for such happy new sounds at the farm - cheep! cheep! cheep!
