It took me months of work, but finally Blaze knows how to push the button at traffic lights. The command is the very original "push the button Blaze".
This new trick means he can now:
- play dead when we point a "gun" at him and say "bang"
- say grace before eating (he eats on "Amen")
- bark when Boy Wonderful goes up a tree
- push the screen door open to let himself out
Now only if we can teach him to bury his own poo...
Today I am thankful for the laughs this beautiful dog has brought into our lives.

What a nice dog! Great stuff, it must be very rewarding to train him like this. He sounds like he'll make the best companion! (any particular reason why you're training him for traffic lights and things of such?)
we've trained Blaze to push the button at traffic lights because otherwise he's prone to just wander onto the street whether there's traffic or not. We value him "alive" and this little ritual at corners might just save his life one day.
