I'm so excited that my friends from Melbourne (
Scotty) and Sydney (
Lucy) have landed in Perth. We touched base at a cafe for lunch, and nearly wet ourselves with the ethereal conversations.
For example... when I told them I'd written two sequels to my children's book "
Selena's Crystal Balls, A Magical Journey Through the Chakras", this is how the conversation maxed out...
Scott: Are you going to write a sequel about Selena and her chakra animals too?
Lucy: And what about Selenas and her magical realm?
Scott: Are you ever going to out her as a lesbian?
Me: Yeah, I'll call that sequel "Selena's Liquor License"
Today I am thankful I know how to flow with less-than-earthy conversations, lol
