Nov 10: Queens at Play

Noticed in the paper that a Queen tribute band was playing in the park this evening, so spontaneously planned a pizza-picnic and dragged our guest Helena along with us.

Boy Wonderful spent 25 minutes in the queue for ice-cream only to have the window shut in his face when the ice-cream machine broke down. That experience, combined with having to watch his mother dance to "fat bottom girls", really made him wonder how much longer he has to go to these things with his olds...

Today I am thankful BW knows how to cop a bad luck break on the chin with grace.
