I had a rest day today while Boy Wonderful and Gavstar took a day trip to the Grand Canyon. When I saw this photo of BW looking over the edge of the canyon into the abyss, it reminded me of the time we drove across the Nullarbor desert and stopped to look over the edge of Australia. (

This evening we had dinner at the Star Trek experience (where the staff dress up like Star Trek characters), and dropped into the Circus Circus casino (which houses the world's (?) biggest indoor theme park). I won a ticket on one of the games, and got this fabulous lolly as my prize. WOW!!!!
Today I am thankful that I was able to hike the Grand Canyon three years ago in slightly warmer conditions than what the boys experienced today!
