Dec 25: Xmas at 911 Trauma Place

Boy Wonderful went for a swim this morning... he slipped, knocked his head, and as the American trauma doctors charmingly put it, he thoroughly "rang his bell"... a serious concussion meant we spent the entire Xmas Day in the trauma ward as a guest of the Washington State trauma unit.

Fortunately we were taken VERY good care of -- the new mama-in-law is a pediatrician and totally took control of BW's care.

Today I am thankful that we are looked after wherever we go.
