After all my talk about looking forward to the "abundance" of fresh food, I ordered my first breakfast back on Australian soil -- a toasted cheese (not yellow) and tomato sandwich at the Melbourne airport.
My reaction when I saw my "abundant" sandwich?
"Gee, generous...." (said in a steely and sarcastic tone, naturally).
Today I am thankful I can laugh at ironies (and stingy tomato sandwiches!)
