Something about yesterday's photo shoot got me feeling pretty darned cocky about my belly -- I even got brave enough to strip down to a bikini and frolic in some waves with my Boy Wonderful!
This evening the three of us went down to the South Perth foreshore to watch the fireworks. Must be something about the parking restrictions in South Perth, but there were thousands and thousands of people on foot making their way to the river, and every single one was in a fabulous mood.
Despite the predicted 400,000 pax, we had no problem in strolling right to the front and finding plenty of room on the river's edge!
During the course of the EXCELLENT fireworks show, we all realised that this was a first for all of us -- despite Gavstar being a born-and-bred Wozzie he's never seen the show before. BW is usually in Victoria at this time of year visiting his dad -- he came back early this year for his cricket matches scheduled during the school holidays. And tomorrow marks our one-year anniversary of living in Perth, so I've not had the chance to see the show before.
Today I am thankful we are continuing to share a lot of "firsts" as a family.
