Feb 6: Knots in Cotton

Boy Wonderful is obsessed about building his upper body strength. I think it has something to do with being able to catch the girls... or something along those lines.

At the start of the year he began with three sets of 20 push-ups a day and increased the number of push-ups by one each day. He's now up to 61 a day and beginning to see results.

We were watching TV last night and he said, "whatever number comes on the TV next is how many push-ups I'm going to do in the ad break."

The next number that came up was 34,490 -- the price of a new car.

"Errr, no, I meant the NEXT number," he says. But he got down on the floor and started anyway. I admire his dedication and persistence. In fact, I've told him I want him to be my personal trainer after baby is born and have given him permission to be RUTHLESS!

Today I am thankful that even though BW promises to be ruthless and cruel, he hasn't really got it in him ;-)
