Having been surrounded by boys all my life, it's a joy beyond measure to have this precious little girl enter my life. The past few days have been a wondrous and beautiful time of welcoming her into our family.
Today I am thankful (again) for family birthing units that allow families to stay together during this transition period in a safe and nurturing environment.
