March 2: Cook Up and Christmas Lunch

There's no better way to start a lazy Sunday than with an enormous cook-up with friends. Oh wait, yes there is one better way -- that is, if someone else cooks it!

I got busy with the baby, Gavstar got busy with fixing Trevor the Ute, and so it was up to friends to roll up their sleeves to prepare and cook breakfast. What a magnificent feast ensued!

I just couldn't bring myself to eat the eggs though, especially not after Scott's daughter went to all the effort of naming the chickens -- she even went so far as to draw a portrait of each one so that we wouldn't get the names mixed up after she'd gone home. The only one I remember (at this point) is the white one with yellow markings... her name is "Christmas Lunch"

Today I am thankful for considerate and generous friends (especially those who can cook, and those with very creative daughters)!
