March 3: Morning Serenade and Jetty Jump

Just when I thought yesterday's way of greeting the day was PERFECT, along comes ANOTHER perfect way of starting a lazy day... have a friend practice the clarinet on your verandah!

Jimbo had an attentive audience-of-one listening to his fabulous music, but little did he know he had a couple of girls swooning to the music inside!

This afternoon we met up with the Happs who were turning the funeral of their little jack russel (she'd been bitten by a dugite) into a celebration of her memory by doing a "jetty jump"... apparently this entails jumping into Geographe Bay from the Busselton Jetty, backwards. Oldest son took it one degree of fearlessness further by flipping off the highest level.

Today I am thankful for friends friends friends friends friends.
